stacking VC flex-10 and VC 1/10 GB
hello! I have a c7000 with flex-10 in bay1 and bay2 VC 1/10 GB in bay 5 and bay6 I try to stack this with 10 GB CX4 cable, but no luck. (bay1 to bay5 and bay2 to bay6) I have done this before in a c7000 with 1/10GB in bay1 and bay2, and flex-10 in bay 5 and 6 without any problems. Also tried the cables from the OK config to check cable. But it seems to be a problem when there is a flex-10 in bay1 and bay2, anyone have the same config or have a solution for this? firmwareversion v2.0.2 Regards [Updated on 4/14/2009 8:53 AM]

Hi, Have you any SFP+ module in use on port X1 as well? As only X1 on SFP+ or X1 on CX4 can be used at the same time. Please have only 1 SFP connected or inserted in both X1 ports as they are shared. Have you inserted the stackingcable before or after the domain is installed and what FW are you running on all 4 VC modules? If they are not all equal to 1.34 or 2.02 then please upgrade them first. Cheers, Jeroen Kleen

Hi! Thanks for your reply. You solved my problem, I have missed the part where you could'nt have SFP+ in X1 when using CX4. Removed the SFP+ and it started working right away. Thanks!
