Hello,
Is that SFP from HPE?
What is the part number, so that I can tell you the compatibility ?
Thanks,

Re: virtual connect 10-10D with sfp-rj45-10G
We are having the same issue on our VC. We installed two new SFP-RJ45-10G in IC1 and IC2, but they are in unlinked state even if on the switches the ports are online.
Did you manage to fix the issue on your VC?
Thanks
Stefano
