Is there an add on (or 3rd party software that interacts with SIM) that can handle escalation of events. What I am looking to do is when a critical event trap occurs rather than just paging the tech direct I'd like to start an escalation procedure. The tech is paged, if he doesn't log in and acknowledge that page within 15 minutes he's paged again, still no response his manager is paged, still no response the next manager is paged and so on.
Does anybody know or use software that has these features and can handle snmp traps?
Thanks
