CAS Reporting GUI problem


Has anyone ever seen the issue where the reports navagation on the left is not available. Please see attachment.

Hi, I seem to remember I had a similar problem when setting up Reporting for version 5.

I good place to start would be to revisit your Reportingserver setup, and look at your LDAP configuration setings.

I seem to think it had something to do with
Base DN and Bind DN. I have checked my setup and they are set the same ie dc=hp,dc=com

Agree to the above. If any error occurs in you navigation frame (e.g. tbale missing referenced by a filter) all following entries won't be displayed.
As your navigation frame is already missing the Directory/Group Filter the issue is most likely related to AD configuration in .cfg file.

guys... this is logged as a CAS issue and CAS doesn't use AD! But sure, it could be a RRS cfg issue.

Claire, i'm assuming you did not make any customisation to your CAS install?
Did you edit any of the cfg files in the C:\Novadigm\ReportingServer\etc folder?
Can you upload your rrs.cfg from this folder?

Also, check in services.msc that all the "HP Client Automation....." services are started.

Lastly... did you already attempt a reboot of the CAS server?

I had the same issue yesterday, restarted the CCM servers it worked
