My Server is not in the domain.

Re: NT Domain Discovery not working

RMP network discovery uses technology similar to MS.
Is network browsing disable on your network?
I would suggest that the server must be in the domain for it to perform.

Re: NT Domain Discovery not working

Hi Dear,

That I hav gone through all. But my question is if the discovery is done through RMP which uses the HTTP 302 found request which by default is working, then why we require web browsing or any proxy(except patch management).
As my server is on one VLAN and my clients to be discovered are on other VLAN(all are on domain and inter VLAN routing is allowed)
Then why its not working.

Re: NT Domain Discovery not working

Web browsing and HTTP have nothing to do with network browsing.
I suggest that you chose Network places to see if the server can browse the network.
That should provide you a quick indication.
