RDP & VLC not Working after Upgradation

WE had Migrated from HPCAS 2.1 to HPCAS 7.2 and had applied patches. But after applying patches we are getting the Active X Error whose Details i am attaching.

Need to know:
IE Version of the machine attempting the connection.
OS Version and Service pack level of the remote machine and the machine attempting the connection.

IE Version of the machine attempting the connection. is IE7 with Windows 2003 Server SP1

The remote machine is having WInXP Sp3 with IE7

IE7 changed the protocol it uses to handle remote desktop connections, and your error may have something to do with this. There appears to be some incompatibility with the updated control (Terminal Services Client Control -- mstcax.dll) which does not exist with the old control (Remote Desktop Protocol Client Control -- msrdp.ocx)

Which protocol is being used on both machines?
