Radia: Discovering patches in WinNT client

Hi all,
I'm using Radia Patch Manager 2.0 to acquire, manage and apply Windows patches to some Win 2000 and XP machines with no problems.

No, I've installed Radia client to a Win NT 4.0 SP 6a machine, and I've applied the "Discover patches" service.

Discovery seems to be ok, and Radia client logs are correct.

But when the info is sent to the RCS, I see some error messages in nvdmr001.log, about some "not existing products":

NVD7008W 20:56:32 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --? Warning: Instance Not Found
NVD7007E 20:56:32 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --! ERROR: INSTANCE NOT FOUND
NVD3001E 20:56:32 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --! ERROR, OBJECT PROCESSING FOR FAILED RC=<2>
NVD7008W 20:56:33 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --? Warning: Instance Not Found
NVD7007E 20:56:33 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --! ERROR: INSTANCE NOT FOUND
NVD3001E 20:56:33 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --! ERROR, OBJECT PROCESSING FOR FAILED RC=<2>
NVD3099I 20:56:33 <10.13.14.1 /524> Radia Client --- Removing Object , Heap Size Used/Allocated : <240 / 2000>, Number of heaps Used/Allocated <1 / 1>.

So, information is not sent to Messaging Server, and my device does not appear in the Patch Reports. There is no information about this machine in the patch database.

I've already checked synchronization between RCS and Patch Database.
The other Radia clients are working ok.
And I can acquire new patches with no problems.

Does anybody know what can be happening to this Radia client?

Thanks and regards,
Susana.

Re: Radia: Discovering patches in WinNT client

Hi all,
I've installed a patch for Patch Manager 2.0, and acquired a WinNT patch, and now the info is being sent to Patch DB, and Reporting seems ok.

Anyway, I still see the error message in my RCS, about two not existing products:
- PRODUCT.DA1303DF8141 Not Found
- PRODUCT.DA134CF4F7BE Not Found

Is it a real problem?
How can I know which products are?

Thanks and regards,
Susana.
