An error occurred accessing Offline Records. Could not open macro storage.

Some of the MS Office 2003 documents through an error as "An error occurred accessing Offline Records. Could not open macro storage." when opened from offline record window. The workaround which we are following is changing the title of the record. Is this a known issue with TRIM 7.1.1. what is the root cause of it?

This may or may not help.

I don't think it's a TRIM related issue though.

btw..if your're attached error message with the Word document in background is not a sample, you might want to redact it.

It's been a while but I think from memory it was an issue with long titles.

When a record has a long title TRIM would truncate it, this error used to pop up when the truncation occurred on a space. If it fell on a letter, number or symbol it was fine.

Changing the title was a work around, and it was fixed in a later version.
