Is there a way to create queue for error record then keep processing?

Is there a way to create queue for error record then keep processing?

I am testing 8.2.0.7591 and often word indexing gets blocked by error (normally a special character). Is there a way it can move those records to another queue and keep processing? We have often large baclogs behind the block which holds up other neccessary records.

Please help me to clarify.

Thanks in advanced.

Unfortunately there isn't a button you can push to get rid of the document and keep processing. You'll need to make a change at the database level, these are the steps for word indexing (please note that content indexing is different)

If you are unsure or there is a step that you need help with, please log a support case so we can assist in more detail.

1. Stop Word Indexing event processor from RM Enterprise Studio.

1.1  right click on the DB in RM Enterprise Studio > Event Processing > Configure > Set the event processor of Word Indexing to Not Running.

1.2 click on the Deploy button in RM Enterprise Studio so that the change will take effect.

2. Removing the event from TSEVENTDAT table. This step requires you to know what event is causing the block, you should be able to determine the URI from the RM event logs.

** note, always back up your Database before you make any changes, especially for a production DB.

2.1 You can run the SQL below against the DB in SQL Management Studio :

SELECT * FROM TSEVENTDAT WHERE ( uri = ***** AND edForProcessType= 5 ); //this will help to find the affected row.

2.2 After you can confirm that the it returns the correct row, then please use the SQL below to have it removed from the TSEVENTDAT table :

DELETE FROM TSEVENTDAT WHERE (uri = **** AND edForProcessType= 5);

2.3 Run the SQL below to ensure it returns 0 row.

SELECT * FROM TSEVENTDAT WHERE ( uri = **** AND edForProcessType= 5 );

3, Perform reindex for Text Word.

Go to TES > Right click on the DB > Utilities > Index Text.

Wait till the Text Index job completes.

4 Enable Word Indexing event processor from RM Enterprise Studio, and see if event will start to process.

4.1 You will need to right click on the DB in RM Enterprise Studio > Event Processing > Configure > Set the event processor of Word Indexing to Enabled.

4.2 Then you will need to click on the Deploy button in TRIM Enterprise Studio so that the change will take effect.

It should bring the Word Indexing event processor back running and you should be able to find records via Text Word Search.
