Reassigned activity due date cannot be recalculated?

Hi all,

 

We are implementing  a workflow module on TRIM 6.2.2. It has come to our attention that a due date of the reassigned activity is not affected by a reassigned date. The situation is that an activity A originally assigned to X is expected to due (or overdue) on 31/03/11. This activity is then reassigned to Y on 14/4/11 with a scheduled duration of 1 day but the due date of this activity is shown as 31/3/11. This means that the due date is calculated based on the original initiation of the particular activity.

Would anyone like to share your point of view on this?
