Record Statistics Report - Grouped By Non-Existant Location Names

We are using Trim 7.1.2.2017.

I have a Record Statistics Report that is grouped by Creator.  After I generated the statistics and view it in Excel,  I noticed that some of the creator names do not currently exist as displayed in the spreadsheet.  The locations name had later been modified.   Why is this happening?

Where is the statistics generating engine finding the creator names if not in the locations table where the current name is stored?

Can anyone explain how these creator names are generated in the statistics?

This is a little puzzling to me.

Thanks.

Were they the names of the locations at the time the records was created?

Greg,

Yes, they were names when the records were created.

Thanks.

I was under the impression that the creator field is only ever updated at the time of creation. Which would be inline with what you are seeing here.

So where is the creator field stored? In TSRECORD.

Turn on dataset logging in the activity log pane when generating the statistics. I think you'll find it's getting all its data from TSRECLOCHI (online audit log)
