SSPI Decryption failure error when adding records

After upgrading our TRIM Server from 6R2 build 1240 to 7.1 1132 we are receiving the following error from our client PCs.  During the upgrade process we changed the DB connention string from using the default OLEDB client to the Native SQL client.

TRIM Server 2003 R2

Sql 2005

Client: Windows 7

Re: SSPI Decryption failure error when adding records

SSPI errors are specific to the database and aren't caused by TRIM.

I'd suggest by making sure the acount you are using to connect to SQL is valid and has the minimum required access to the TRIM database. (I'd suggest db_owner as this is needed for some administrative tasks).

Re: SSPI Decryption failure error when adding records

We made the user db_owner of the database, no difference,

We renamed the user location in TRIM and created a new location with same name. The error disappeared. We than associated the new location to the old and everything seem to be working ok.

I'll update the post if itbreaks again.
