Some users receiving multiple action emails

Hi,

 

We have an issue with some users receiving two identical notification emails when an action is due or reassigned.

 

Here is what I have found so far:

  • It is only 3 or 4 users experiencing this and it doesn't happen all the time but enough to be annoying
  • I checked the associated Trim locations of those who receive two emails in case they had two email addresses associated or were different to other lcoations in some way but they aren't
  • Our Exchange server reports that it receives two emails from the Trim server for delivery
  • The actions themselves are not the problem as other users use these same actions and don't receive the duplicate emails

Has anyone experienced something similar or know of somewhere else to check?

Just a quick thought, do you have, in System Options, both "Action is first assigned" and "Action is ready to commence..." ticked?

 

While I know one would say that is this was the problem then everyone would get dual emails, but it really depends on how the actions are assigned/setup.

 

So it's just a thought to check this...
