TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

A couple of search methods have been dropped in the TRIM 7 client (7.0.0.1379)

Network Login

Use Profile Of

Any chance of bring these back, I found these most valuable.

Re: TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

These should still be available.

Possibly under the String Search methods now.

I can check later if you can't find anything. :smileyhappy:

Re: TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

Both login and usingProfileOf are listed in help as available methods, but when I try either of these I get "You have specified an unknown search method. Use the helper function to display a list of available search methods".

Re: TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

Yep, these search methods are available when using the 'String' search method.

I have attached a screenshot showing these two search methods.

Also, if you are still using the multi-field search method for Locations, these search methods are available on the Miscellaneous tab when doing a Location search. (Also screenshotted)

So it looks like these methods are still available in my 7.0 1379 test environment. :smileyhappy:

EDIT: Doesn't look like attaching a word doc with screenshots is working. But I can assure you, those search options ARE available! :smileyhappy:

Re: TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

Sorry I fell for the old user category too low trick. Both are there when logged is as admin.

Re: TRIM 7 Client - Location Search Methods

I should mention that the ability to use these methods depends on the user category holding the "View User Profile Details" permission. This wasn't the case in 6.24.1236, where anyone could search for login or useprofileof. I guess it is preferable now with access restricted,
