.XLS: file format not valid

Hi all,

We seem to be experiencing sporadic issues opening various excel version in HP TRIM 7.3 and is not happening to all xecel documents in the system.

I have seen this before but for the life of me can't remember what the issue was, and I have attached a screenshot - can anyone shed some light / jog my memory?

Cheers :)

Hiya grzeszky

You might want to attach that document you were talking about :)

Re: .XLS: file format not valid

haha I am such a dill.... thanks Mel  :)

I have tried in vein to attach it, but the site doesn't want to allow me to :(

Basically the error is as follows -

D14 132923 AIRS versus Cost Centre(3).XLS: file format not found

We have tried dragging and dropping it out of TRIM onto the desktop but the error still pops up.

Cheers,

Re: .XLS: file format not valid

Is it excel giving you the error? I would try extracting it to the desktop and changing the extension to XLSX.
