What is an SSL Certificate and how could it help my business? Please guide me if it works for all browsers. I would also like to know if the backups encrypted? Also, is it true that SSL Certificates do not support upgrades or downgrades.
I know, too many queries in a single post.. but please guide me on the same!

SolutionAn SSL certificate is a small data file containing the cryptographic keys that allow secure access to otherwise locked information. The certificate is installed on a web server, and allows a browser to access the secure web sites via the https protocol. Once a certificate is installed, it can be replaced, but not edited (which is what I believe you meant by upgraded or downgraded).
Thanks,
