New wireless router and password

How do I access the setup for my HP printer to change the wireless router password? It is wired directly to the wireless router but shows offline on my computers. All computers accessing the network, but not the printer...can't figure out how to access the printer configuration. Help?

What type of printer do you have?  What type of router?  What Windows version on your computer?

If wired directly, it doesn't need a wireless password.  Only the computers/printers talking wireless need it.

Can you get the printer to print its IP address?

I assume your computers can get to the router?  Can you access the EWS of the router to see if the printer is connected?
