Unable to see new connections

I have a MA8000 fiber channel san and I'm trying to add new machines to the san. I see the new machine when I attach it to the switch I restart both hsg80 controllers but when I do a sho conn on the controllers I don't see the new connections. I tried zoning the new machines and putting them in the current zones saving configuration making sure the configuration is enabled. and restarting both controllers but I still don't see the connections on the controllers. I'm getting a good solid green light on the switches, why can't I see the new connections on the controllers any help would really be appreciated. I'm trying to add two new Sun E450 machines.

I can't see off-hand what is wrong. Does Solaris see the HBA(s) ? I'm not familiar with Solaris, but I suppose it uses drivers. I know there's a bit of trouble whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit HBAs. If you could mail me a detailed configuration of your system I'll look into it. charles.morrall@benzler.se
