wireless missing on compaq610 xp3

i bought new compaq 610 notebooks and downgraded 3 to windows xp3. On the downgraded notebooks i installed wireless drivers from hp website and from driver recovery dvd. I enabled wireless settings on BIOS, Windows Zero Configuration Services.Using HP wireless assistant i can see bluetooth device is enabled but wireless device is disabled. under network places, the wireless icon is missing and on device manager the network controller got yellow exclamation mark. the machine is downgraded for software developers as windows7 is not yet tested for software in use. the notebooks are still under warranty and have 3year carepacks. please help so i can connect wirelessly using xp.

Re: wireless missing on compaq610 xp3

Problem solved. I downloaded wireless drivers from this link http://www.x-drivers.com/catalog/drivers/wireless_networks/companies/realtek/models/rtl8191se/12174.html and i can access wireless points now.
