Compaq cp-2e router

I am having a strange problem! My router works fine except when someone goes on E-Bay. For some reason when you start viewing a couple of items it takes out my router. The computer shows I am still connected but I can't use the web. It stops all the computers on the network. The only solution is to reboot the router and then all is fine until I go back on E-Bay. Any ideas?
