Re: NC6000 Wireless disabled
Hi!
I had the same problem. Registrated here just to help you out (I hope).
Make sure your wired network works and is connected.
Intall driver for wireless network.
When you restart your nc6000 press F10 to enter the ROM Based Setup and follow the steps below.
Go to Security -> Device Security -> Wireless netwok button and set the value to Enable.
Press F10 to accept changes.
Go to File -> Save changes and exit, press F10 for Yes.
Start Windows.
Press the wireless button.
Now to the strange part: the "Found New Hardware Wizard" will start and if you let it search for drivers automatically it will install a driver for "Bloetooth for hp". Nevertheless the wireless network will now work (incl. the button).
