VPN

Recently upgraded a converted SP750 to Windows XP. I am connected to my isp broadband via cable modem. Prior to converting to XP I was able to tunnel into Compaq using Altavista. Now that I have upgraded to XP I've tried to use VPN. It doesn't work. The lastest upgrade softpac for WL310 says it does not currently support VPN. Are there any fixes or do I have to wait till a softpac addresses this.
