cisco PIX firewall issue

Hi!

I know this may not be right place to ask this question. But if anyone know, please help.

I have cisco PIX 515E firewall with 3 interfaces. The ping between interfaces is not working. The packets from lower security interface are going to higher but the reverse is not working. Any idea?

make sure you allow echo replies as well as echo requests.

Hi GK,

I guess, in PIX, by-default echo is disable on higher security ethernet interface.

Pls check on forum of cisco.com.

You have to enable ICMP on your pix interfaces.
