1G Transceiver Coppoer into 10G SFP+ port

Hello,

I have a  HP 5900AF-48XG-4QSFP+ switch.

Can i plug a copper 1G Transceiver ( HPE X120 G SFP RJ45 - JD089B) into a TenGig fiber interface?
Will it be compatible?

Thanks!

I haven't tried copper transceivers, but we use a few 1G fiber transceivers in 10G ports on our 5900 switches, and they work without problems.

Yes, you can.

See below about JD089B Transceiver:

Taken from HPE 5920&5900 Switch Series Installation Guide (Appendix C, page 46 of 65).
