3COM 4500 DHCP issue
Hello,
I have DHCP server which connected to the 3com 4500 switch. Another client also connected to the same switch. Which they are running on the same VLAN.
Problem now there is something strange which it looks somewhere DHCP traffic cannot pass thru the network.
Since DHCP server is not the same switch and same vLAN, so I think that is not related to dhcp-relay issue.
And the dhcp-snooping is disabled already, so it looks not related to this issue.
Does anyone have this experience to solve it?
Thanks!

Re: 3COM 4500 DHCP issue
Hi,
For testing purpose, configure a static IP Address to the client and check if you are able to reach the DHCP server.
If DHCP server is reachable and the dhcp client is not getting IP Address, you can try a packet capture (wireshark) and see as what is causing the issue.

Re: 3COM 4500 DHCP issue
Hello,
DHCP server and client are able to communicate when client setup using static IP.
However, during boot up client. I cannot sniffer any DHCP traffic at LAN. That is no idea where is got loss.
Thanks!

Hi,
How about configuring port mirroring and check the packet capture.
