3com 2948 SFP Port not Offline

we have 3Com Switch 2948 and 1 Cisco SG550XG

the 3Com Switch say: 

Port State: Enabled

PVID: 1

Flow Control: Enabled

Speed: Auto

Duplex: Auto

Received Bytes (Octets) 9051625 Received Packets 73831 Broadcast Packets Received 3491 Multicast Packets Received 12600 CRC & Align Errors 0 Undersize Packets 0 Oversize Packets 0 Fragments 0 Jabbers 0 Collisions 0 Frames of 64 Bytes 4376140 Frames of 65 to 127 Bytes 1722611 Frames of 128 to 255 Bytes 2633130 Frames of 256 to 511 Bytes 279009 Frames of 512 to 1023 Bytes 41837 Frames of 1024 to 1518 Bytes 12026

But the Cisco Switch say: Offline

The Other SFP from Cisco to the Server are: Online

Maybe i have to enable some config. on the 3com Switch ?

i only plugged in the SFP cable without config.

I never needed SFP before :)

How is the LED for the port on each switch? Are SFPs compatible with both switches?
