3com 4500G stuck in a loop

hi evevryone

we have 3com 4500G . recently we want to change our vlans configuration that we found we forgot the asmin's password.

so we connect to the switch via cable and reboot that to inter boot menu 0 (Ctrl+B)

we configure our changes. save it.

but after that we reboot the switch again but we stuck in  User interface aux0 .

System is starting...
Configuration file is skipped.
User interface aux0 is available.

any solutions might be helpfull.

What do you mean by "we stuck in  User interface aux0 " ?

I suppose after you reboot the switch, and the console cable is still connected -

the message: "User interface aux0 is available." , is exactly what you would expect. (and then "Press ENTER to get started. ")

Do you have console access after the reboot?

It sounds like you need to go back into the boot menu and tell the switch to process the startup configuration file.  It looks like it still thinks that it needs to skip the file.
