4210 POE switch "Update poe board error"
I uploaded the new POE ver 6 firmware and ran the command "poe update refresh firmware.s19" and after about 5 seconds the "board error" message.
Power off, then try the "poe update FULL" command and still the same error message.
Anyone have any other ideas.
Rob.

Re: 4210 POE switch "Update poe board error"
Sometimes these new versions have unknown problems not reported yet. Try this and tell us if it works.

Re: 4210 POE switch "Update poe board error"
Here we go again, another switch, SAME failure.
Unit is a 4500 POE.... display poe int says that POE is not supported.
Power off, same problem.
Try to upgrade POE Firmware, same failure as listed months ago.
FYI, earlier post trying to help is not of any help. What is meant by the "switch environment"? Additionally, I am aware of any way to downgrade to older version since there is NO older version. The units ship with firmware installed, no source files to "reload factory firmware". The firmware upgrade was suggested by CE as a fix to switch no longer supporting the POE that is installed.
