4228G Backup configuration sw release 2.10

Hi,

I have a 4228G switch. I want to backup its currrent configuration. It has software release 2.10 installed. I cannot find the option to backup the configuration (nor web or via telnet).

I know that with release 3.0 that option is in the system menu. But I would like to backup the configuration with no upgrade. Is it possible? Or is it mandatory to upgrade the switch?
