4500 - Multiple MAC entries on one port
Port 23 is giving me 3 different devices (Mac addresses) hooked on a single port. How do I clear the mac entries so it only reads the actual mac address that is connected to the port? I assume the other MAC addresses were once on that port and never fell off. I only have a Dell server hanging off this port but it shows I also have a HP printer and an IBM server. How do I clear these entries without rebooting the switch?

Re: 4500 - Multiple MAC entries on one port
If you are sure that there is not any other device as a hub or switch hooked on this port, just enter the command:
<switch> reset arp
After this, check the MAC entries in the port.

Re: 4500 - Multiple MAC entries on one port
Thank you. I'm new to the 3com switches and my new job is loaded with 4400 & 4500 3com switches, they are pretty old and it's hard to find any support or knowledge base for them.
