4500G issue
Twice in the last month we have encountered major issues with our 4500G Switch.
It runs fine then for no apparent reason we lose packets to all hosts plugged into the switch.
the 1st time it happened we powered off the switch for about 5 minutes and when it powered back on it was working again.
the 2nd time the reboot didn’t help and we had to move all hosts to another (slower) switch.
Prior to moving the hosts I ping flooded all the hosts on the switch and got about 60% success rate.
Any thoughts?
