4800 OSPF Network

I Have 17 4800's that are all individual sites. I am using OSPF for routing. Everything seems to be working however I can't traceroute to anything. What I get is:

***

***

***

(Destionation IP)

So it makes it you just can't tell which way it is going. Any ideas??

Hey man, this is weird. How many OSPF areas are you using in this topology?

What is the OSPF version running?

Are all the switches connected to the backbone area?

Re: 4800 OSPF Network

Actually I went easy on this install.

It is all Area 0.

OSPF version 2.

Re: 4800 OSPF Network

We figured it out. Looks like you need to add 2 lines of code to the config.

ip unreachables enable

ip ttl-expires enable

Re: 4800 OSPF Network

Good to hear from you that you already solved the problem. I was wondering if was something regarding expiring timers, but I don't have too much experience with OSPF running in 3Com devices and I did prefer not to say anything without reading the guide before...
