4800g irf

I have successfully added two switches to an IRF fabric but when I add a third I get a message "Physical index of the member is 3, member ID is 2. Link status of the IRF port with port index 2 and member ID 2 turned to 1.". This is followed by " Neighbor of IRF port 2 can't be stacked.".

If I look at irf topology I get the following output

                           Topology Info

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 IRF-Port1                  IRF-Port2

Switch  Link     member  neighbor  Link             member  neighbor  Belong To

  *1         DOWN     1                  --        UP                    2                  2              0024-73c7-ef15

   2          UP            1                  1         ISOLATE         2                  --             0024-73c7-ef15

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anybody explain what's happened and/or how I fix the problem?

Thanks in advance

Tom

Re: 4800g irf

Answered this myself, the fibre was in the wrong physical IRF port.
