5500 Switch & snmp
Hi all,
I was wondering which MIB contains the OID's for things such as fan-speed, temperature and power-supply for a 3com 5500 switch? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks in advance
/G

Re: 5500 Switch & snmp
I am also interested in monitoring temperature. Thank you if you answer.

Re: 5500 Switch & snmp
Hello gustavR!
I think that if getting 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.2.23.1.9.1.1.1.2.131072 gives 1 then the fan is OK. I think also that if getting 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.2.23.1.9.1.2.1.2.131072 gives 1 then the power supply is OK. I sniffed this from Switch 4500. This may be the same for Switch 5500.
I have also found
1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.10.3.1.8.3 (h3cevtSensorFanSpeed), 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.10.3.1.8.1 (h3cevtSensorTemperature), and 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.10.3.1.8.2 (h3cevtSensorVoltage)
but they don't work for Switch 4500. Do they work for Switch 5500?
