5500 - how do i mirror a vlan to one port
I would like to know the syntax required for mirroring an entire vlan unto a single port - the configuration guide does not make it clear.
Also the port that I will be mirroring the vlan to will be my own pc. Will I continue to work on the LAN while the port is mirrored?
Thanks

Re: 5500 - how do i mirror a vlan to one port
If its not critical and can wait a up to a few days or sometimes weeks then forums are OK.
If there is a critical problem or the need for an immediate response then a forum is probably not the best place to start. Its better to call their support number.
I don't know the technical answer myself. However, while i am not sure about 3Com's web site but i would expect they have a knowledgebase you can look up for this answer if you can wait for them to respond.
