5820 login password
I have a 5820 that I had someone set up with the Web gui. A user account and password was created and I can log into the GUI.
However when I try to telnet into the switch, I get an error message "Login password not set!" and am disconnected.
I cannot find anywhere in the GUI to enter this password and the manuals are useless.
Has anyone encountered this issue?

Re: 5820 login password
I suppose the only way to change it is on the console, is that correct?

Re: 5820 login password
on the console you have to set:
user-interface vty 0 15
authentication-scheme default
never used the webinterface before :-)

Re: 5820 login password
I had them log into the console and put this on, that did the trick. Thanks!
