I have two 5900AF-48XG-4QSFP switches in IRF running 7.1.045, Release 2422P01.
I want to upgrade in 7.1.045, Release 2432P06 without complete downtime. I mean upgrade one switch and the second one just after so server with dual connection will continue to have network.
ISSU can not be use as compatibility matrix not OK. I wonder if there is a way to manually upgrade / reboot one switch and once first switch upgraded upgrade / reboot the second one so at any time at least one switch is up and running.
Any tips ? Any advice ?

Re: 5900AF-48XG-4QSFP IRF upgrade ISSU not compatible
Hi Ivan_B,
Thanks for your answer , it is helpfull.
Now I understand that my main concern is that I have IRF configured without MAD and MAD is mandatory to do such kind of upgrade to avoid the split brain. Am I right ?
