5940 VRRP Limits
We are configuring VRRP groups on HPE FlexFabric 5940 2-slot JH397A with Comware version 7.1.070, Release 2510P02. After trying to configure 257th instance we receive the foolowing error message.
Number of virtual routers on the device has reached the upper limit.
Is there way to configure more instances in this firmware release, or perhaps newer release?
Thanks.

Re: 5940 VRRP Limits
Thanks for reply, would is it possible to extend number of interface where VRRP can operate using master and subordinate groups? For example I am trying this configuration:
GW1
vrrp send-gratuitous-arp
# interface Vlan-interface300 description GROUP1 Transit ip binding vpn-instance G1 ip address 192.168.0.2 255.255.255.0 vrrp vrid 3 virtual-ip 192.168.0.2 vrrp vrid 3 preempt-mode delay 5 vrrp vrid 3 name GROUP1 # interface Vlan-interface301 description GROUP1 Endpoints ip binding vpn-instance G1 ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 vrrp vrid 3 virtual-ip 192.168.1.1 vrrp vrid 3 preempt-mode delay 5 vrrp vrid 3 follow GROUP1
The GW2 is configured similarly, except real IP is .3 and priority is 90. The state from Master point of view looks healthy.
IPv4 Virtual Router Information: Running mode : Standard Gratuitous ARP sending interval : 120 sec Total number of virtual routers : 2 Interface Vlan-interface300 VRID : 3 Adver Timer : 100 Admin Status : Up State : Master Config Pri : 100 Running Pri : 100 Preempt Mode : Yes Delay Time : 5 Auth Type : MD5 Key : ****** Virtual IP : 192.168.0.1 Virtual MAC : 0000-5e00-0103 Master IP : 192.168.0.2 Config Role : Master Name : GROUP1 Interface Vlan-interface301 VRID : 3 Adver Timer : 100 Admin Status : Up State : Master Config Pri : 100 Running Pri : 100 Preempt Mode : Yes Delay Time : 5 Auth Type : None Virtual IP : 192.168.1.1 Virtual MAC : 0000-5e00-0103 Master IP : 192.168.1.2 Config Role : Subordinate Follow Name : GROUP1
But only Master GW can reach VIP for Subordinate group, downstream switch or Backup GW cannot reach it via ICMP, even they have resolved it on Layer 2.

GW1 and GW1 real address are rechable from this access switch.
Firmware is 7.10_R2612P02.
Edit: I have re-tested this feature again using 7.10_R2612P01 and it resovled the issues with reachabilitu, looks like code issue in latest GA release.
