7506 dual fabric and load balancing
Hi all,
i'm trying to understand the way to apply load balncing in the dual fabric environment on Hp7506.
Actually I have a 7506 with 2x 384Gbps Fabric Module with 12 SFP Ports (JD224A). The blade are automatically in master/slave mode, but I don't know how to activate the load balancing to increase the throughput from 384Gbps to 768.
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance

Re: 7506 dual fabric and load balancing
To my knowledge this is automatic. A LPU (line card) has max performance if two MPU's (Fabric Module) are used. So when you use one MPU or if one fails in case of redundant MPUs the performance will decrade by half. In other words you need to have two MPUs for max performance.
