A5120 dual personality ports

Hi.  I am new to HP switches, and I wanted to know if the dual personality port mapping on the 5120 switches is 1:1. like 21-25, 22-26, 23-27, 24-28.

And is the same true for the 48 port models?

Yes.

The mapping is 1: 1 and the same is true for the 48 port models.

Thanks for your help. Hopefully the same is true for other switch series. I have a 5500 and a 5800 switch coming soon.

sure it is 1:1?

We do have a HP A5120-24G-PoE+ EI Switch and there it is NOT 1:1 !

When I undo shutdown port 23 then port 28 is being shutdown automatically. And when I undo shutdown on port 28, then immediately port 23 is being shutdown automatically.

21-27
22-25
23-28
24-26

Looks like the mapping above is correct, because the physical ports at the switch are labled this way, too. Confusing.
