A5800 GUI help

I'm trying to add in the gui function which i've done before but i'm not seeing a command it usually run and i'm not sure where i've gone wrong.

so far i've run

system-view

IP http enable

local-user manager

password simple password

authorization-attribute level 3

service-type web

that normally does the trick however service-type web doesn't work. If i run service-type ? web doesn't show as an option.

I've added in a new Ip for this switch from 172.16.7.0 to 10.131.0.0

I can still access the gui from 172.16.7.0 but I get the user privileges message when I try to access via 10.131.0.0

I am connecting with telnet to the new IP 10.131.0.0

Re: A5800 GUI help

I don't get web, http or https as an option with service-type

I can only see ftp, lan-access, portal, ssh, telnet and terminal

Re: A5800 GUI help

The software version on the switch is about 10 years out of date which won't help and is probably the cause. I'll update the switch and see it makes a difference

Re: A5800 GUI help

The Web GUI is not generally available on Data Center switches.  If it is there, it is a best effort and not all features may be available to configure.  You are best to stick with the CLI.

If the Web GUI is available, the service-type would be web.
