A5820-24XG-SFP+
Hi,
I am new to this forum and posting here because the technical support in my country has not given me an answer that would be satisfying.
I have to build a high speed simulation cluster which needs to be connected with speeds of up to 40Gbps.
The solution that i have come up with is a A5820-24XG-SFP+ switch and NC522SFP nic's connected with each other by X240 10G SFP+ SFP+ 1.2m DA Cable. Now the technical support here tell me that the switch and nic cannot be connected by DA cables because of some compatibility issue and that I would have to equip my switch and NIC's with X130 10G SFP+ LC SR Transceiver and connect them via FO but that just doubles the cost of the entire solution.
Now, if anyone has any idea if the switch and nic's could be connected by DA cables or we really have to equip the switch and nic's, or maybe someone has a similar solution witch other equipments.
Thank you.

Re: A5820-24XG-SFP+
DAC is supported on NC522SFP and A5820. Just look at the specification sheet:
