Add new ports to 7500 IRF without downtime?

Hi!

Is it possible to add new ports to 7500 chassis and get them online without downtime of the IRF stack?

I have two 7510 forming an IRF stack and I need to add an extra line card in each chassis. I would of course like to do this without downtime if possible but my guess is that I need to reboot the stack. How long would it take to reboot the stack? How much downtime should be expected if it needs to be?

All 7500's FRUs are Hot Swappable (so any FRU can be installed while the Switch is running)...is this feature you're looking for?

Yes, if that also means that the stack will add all new interfaces with the correct port numbers. Do you know if thats the case?
