Adding ports to IRF
Hello guys/girls,
I have two 5900s running in a IRF stack and they have 2 x 10G links for the IRF.
I need to add 6 more links in the IRF.
Do I just enter the IRF port config and add more links?
[H3C]irf-port 1/1
[H3C-irf-port]port group interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/40 <--- new link
[H3C-irf-port]port group interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/41 <--- new link
etc
[H3C-irf-port]port group interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/46 <--- new link
and the same on the second IRF member and then activate the new config?
Or does the sack recognize the new links just by adding them and doing no shut on the interfaces?
Thanks,
Alex
