Anyone else experienced that R1809P03 for HP 5820 (JC102A) is broken?
Updated our HP 5820 (JC102A) to version R1809P03 (from R1809P02) and got several error reports from our customers that their internet connectivity suddently died.
The odd thing was that this didnt occured for all customers but "only" 4-5 per access-switch (at least that amount who reported that Internet stopped working for them).
The mac-address of these customers never showed up in the 5820 when doing "display arp".
Another thing I noticed was that local proxy-arp seemed to stopped working at the same time.
When rollback into R1809P02 the problem is gone so there is obviously something broken with R1809P03.
Anyone else noticed this?
I cant paste the full config but the vlan-config is:
#
interface Vlan-interface100
description SW1
ipv6 address XXXX:XXXX:XXXX:F100::1/126
ipv6 address FE80::F100:1 link-local
ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.192
local-proxy-arp enable
#
We are also running "ip urpf strict" but couldnt see anything obvious in the logs of the 5820 when these clients couldnt reach Internet.
