Cisco & Comware RSTP

Hi,

we have several branch locations using Comware (5130EI) and Cisco (IE3000) switches. I have enabled RSTP, but the Cisco switches are not joining the spanning-tree of the Comware environment.

Global spanning-tree Cisco config:

spanning-tree mode rapid-pvst
spanning-tree portfast edge bpduguard default
spanning-tree extend system-id
spanning-tree pathcost method long

Global spanning-tree Comware Config:

stp mode rstp
stp bpdu-protection
stp global enable

What else do I need to configure on the Cisco or on the Comware switches?

Thanks in advance!

Regards, Leonardo

Re: Cisco & Comware RSTP

Is the bpdu-protection enabled on edge (access) ports only, isn't it? I mean...bpdu-protection feature should not be enabled on port(s) expressly used to link switches together.
