E5500G-EI XRN, inconsistency in mac-adress table between units.
Hi,
I'm not that familiar with the inner workings of XRN and have mostly worked with newer switches with IRF. Now im sitting with my first E5500G (3Com) XRN stack with three switches in the stack. I noticed the 'show mac-address interface' is only showing mac-adresses learnt by unit 1 on the specified port. If i use 'unit 2' or 'unit 3' as arguments, sometimes more lr less mac-adresses are showing.
So it seems as if the are inconsistency in the mac table between the units on certain ports. Is this by design, or is this a problem with my stack? If so, is there a way to sync this? Stack is running s03.03.02p07.
P.S. This thread has been moved from ProCurve / ProVision-Based to Comware-Based. - Hp Forum Moderator
