HP 4210-24g stacking
Hi,
It's possible to stack HP 4210-24g (JF844A) with other HP switches by stacking module? What HP switches will work with 4210-24g?
Can I put JD360B module to HP 5120-24G EI Switch with 2 Slots (JE068A) and 4210-24g and connect them?

Re: HP 4210-24g stacking
From my understanding, "stacking" in the ProCurve heritage switches just means allowing you to manage multiple switches from one IP address. It doesn't give you what VSS stacking on Cisco does. And i'm very confident that it doesn't work between Comware and ProCurve switches.

Re: HP 4210-24g stacking
Hi kulbit
Yes, thats works. The (3Com) 4120-24g and the (HP/H3C) 5120-24G EI are the same device. You need an newer software release (I think >2212). Then you can change the brand of the the 4120 with the command "brand hp" to a HP 5120-24G. Now it is possible to irf stack them.

Re: HP 4210-24g stacking
My apologies on the misleading comment - i read the model number as being one of the ProCurve 4200 series, not the H3C 4120 series.
