HP 5130 SFP+ 10Gbase-LRM support

Hi,

Is it planed with a future comware version to support the SFP+ LRM interface (JD093B) ?

This interface was supported in HP 5120 but not in HP 5130 ; the HP strategy is strange...

I was checking this few months ago with HP R&D. At the moment (November 2014) there are no plans to support LRM-Transceiver on 5130 platform.

Unfortunatly I needed them for a project. I ordered the LRM and tested it in the 5130. They are working without any error message. Diagnostic and alarm is working as well. Like an usual SR transceiver. They are now in a productiv environment since end of november.

I can recommand to use them. But you know: use them on your own risk.

I know this is an old thread, - but are the switches and LRMs you used still working? Have you had any operational issues with the 5130-EI/LRM combination?

They still work well. Never had any issues with them.
