HP 5800 QOS for VOIP, iSCSI, and CIFS on the same link.
I have (2) HP 5830af-96g in IRF at each site with (5) p4500 G2 10GE nodes at each site and the link between is a fiber 30 Mbit/s L2 connection via 100BaseT Ethernet. This has worked okay with about 260 Gigabyte/day on snapshots.
Now I need the 30 Mbit/s bandwidth for CIFS and DFS since the p4500 on SAN IQ 9.5 cannot replicate a volume via remote snapshot to a read/only updating copy on another server at other site. The SAN and equipement were bough expressly for this read/only snapshot behavior which does not work.
Are there any guides to proper config to create a priority flow for voice and control traffic marked dscp ef, cs3, and af31? This is easy on Cisco.
I am thinking I just have to figure out the ACL to mark the DSCPs interesting and setup WRR and possibly rate limit the WAN interface to prevent high latency which will cause voice to arrive late or out of order.

Re: HP 5800 QOS for VOIP, iSCSI, and CIFS on the same link.
Not a ton of information out there, but the HP ASE Network Infrastructure HP0-Y43 book will probably help.
